Chua Xu temple, the famous religious site, located at
the foot of the Sam Mountain.
Since
the beginning of the year, An Giang Province has licensed
22 investment projects mainly to do with tourism or
fish processing and with the total investment capital
of nearly VND 500 billion.
They
include building a cable car up Sam Mountain, the famous
religious site including the Ba Chua Xu Temple near
the town of Chau Doc; the planned Soai So Tourist Area;
and the Pilgrimage Tours project by Australia’s Indochina
Airlines.
To
lure more local and foreign investors, the provincial
authorities have simplified their administrative procedures
and pushed forward with developing An Giang’s industrial
and economic zones.
